There is a debate ensuing at the moment when it comes to how much your employer should know about you. This was added when it emerged that some employers and universities were asking applicants to give them their passwords to social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter. Legislation in Maryland was passed to that effect and there is similar legislation being considered in Congress and other states to address the matter.

What do you think? Should you give your employer your passwords to social media accounts? Why do you think a prospective employer would be interested in that?
